Smart Vending FAQs
What’s the cost to us, and do we receive commission?
There is no upfront cost and no ongoing fees to your property. We purchase, install, stock, and service the Micromart™ smart vending system. Your only responsibility is providing space and standard power access. Commission opportunities may be discussed for qualifying high-volume locations.
Who owns the machine, and how is tax handled?
We retain full ownership and are responsible for all maintenance and inventory. Pricing includes tax, and we remit all applicable state and local taxes. You have no asset responsibility or depreciation exposure.
Is there a contract? How long is it?
Yes, we use a simple one-year agreement outlining responsibilities, insurance, and termination terms. Click here to see a sample contract.
What if it doesn’t work out?
Either party may terminate with written notice. If termination occurs before the one-year term, an early termination fee applies to recover a portion of equipment and installation costs. We remove the Micromart™ machine at no additional cost once any applicable fee is satisfied. (No fee applies for termination caused by Vendor failure, safety issues, building closure, or events beyond Owner’s control.)
What happens if the machine breaks or malfunctions?
Our Micromart™ pantry and cooler systems don’t use traditional vending mechanisms, so product jams aren't a problem. Most issues involve connectivity or payment, which we resolve quickly.
What products do you offer?
We stock popular snacks and beverages, including healthier options. Product selection is adjusted based on demand and site preferences.
What Insurance coverage do you carry?
Lil Bean Vending maintains general liability insurance covering bodily injury and property damage, with $1,000,000 per occurrence coverage. We can also add your organization as additional insured upon request.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Lil Bean Vending is a registered LLC in Colorado and holds all required state and local sales tax licenses for vending operations.
Where would the machine go, and how much space is needed?
Machines are placed in visible, accessible areas such as common or waiting areas. Each Micromart™ unit requires roughly 2.5 ft × 3 ft and a standard electrical outlet.
Micromart™ machines use a provided SIM card for cellular connectivity, with optional use of location Wi-Fi or LAN. Only credit cards and mobile payments are accepted for convenience.
